The Forum is run by graduate students. A Student Executive Committee organises its seminars, conversations, and annual conference, and an Institutional Head coordinates the Forum at each of the seven member institutions.

Interests Political and legal philosophy, ethics, feminist philosophy.
I work on neo-republican and Kantian political philosophy, and how these can diagnose the injustice involved in adaptive preference formation. In particular, I argue that we can understand what is problematic about adaptive preferences by expanding our conception of domination to capture inequalities in social constructive power. My DPhil is supervised by Thomas Sinclair.

Thomas Bullemore

Interests Metaethics and legal philosophy.
My thesis defends a non-reductive, unstructured brand of moral realism. One that isolates moral truths through co-necessitation alone and locates the hyperintensional order of normative explanation - non-modal essences, laws, worldly grounding - in cognition rather than in mind-independent reality. I also trace what this constitutive account implies for reason-giving, the metasemantics of moral predicates, and model-building in ethics.
